The AASC Race is a not-for-profit organization. The AASC Race has an all-Steel Constructed Loft with 4,000 perches. The Loft is situated on an 80-acre land at 0.5 miles North of the WinStar Casino off I-35. An Average Speed Championship is thought by many to be a true test for a real champion. Our goal is to provide a competitive opportunity to test and improve your pigeons and family lines. Together we can discover and promote tough all distance weather resistant top pigeons who are able to compete on the world stage.
2.
The AASC will give breeders the option of two different competitions in which to enter their birds: An A race for average speed only; and a B race for only the 350 mile final. Breeders may enter either of the two races or both.
3.
For the A race, the birds will compete in a four-race series of 150, 200, 250, and 350 miles. Average Speed will be based on all four races and will be paid by Wincompanion calculations. There will be time out for darkness: 30 minutes after sundown and 30 minutes before sunrise. Birds clocked in before midnight TOD will be given end time of Day One; birds clocked in after midnight TOD will be given start time of the next day.
4.
For the B race, the birds will be trained and listed in all races (except average speed), but prizes will only be based on the results in the 350 mile final race, first drop and then clocking order.
5.
Perch fees are $150 per bird, 3 birds for $350, or $100 per bird for 6 or more. Perch fees must accompany the birds and are non-refundable.
6.
Birds will be accepted from March 1st to June 30th, 2023. Replacements will also be accepted up to June 30th. All birds must have a PMV vaccine 15 to 25 days prior to arrival at the AASC Loft.
7.
7. All entry fees are due immediately after the 100-mile activation race. If a bird is lost before basketing for the 150-mile race, the entry fee will be returned; otherwise the entry fees are non-refundable. All eligible birds must be activated by breeders for at least one of the races. Teams not activated will become property of the AASC and the birds will be listed as available to other competitors on a first-come-first-serve basis.
